DIY Paper Lantern Hot Air Balloons

I just love seeing hot air balloons floating up in the sky.  They are so beautiful!  I wanted to recreate that beauty at home, and made some gorgeous colorful hot air balloons out of paper lanterns.  They really are very easy to put together, and look great in a nursery, child's room, or as party decor!

DIY Lighted Marquee Letters

I just love the look of those large beautiful marquee letters with round lights inside each letter.  I love them so much in fact, I made my own mini set!

These letters look great as a decoration for a party, or even just to add a little something to your decor at home!  You can check out the full tutorial on my first design team post on Darice's blog, Live. Craft. Love.

Exciting News!

I just wanted to pop in and share some exciting news with you!  In the last week I've been invited to join the Sizzix and the Darice Design Teams!

If you're not familiar with these companies, Sizzix and Ellison make die cut machines (including the Big Shot, my favorite!), and TONS of awesome dies to go with them that cut paper, fabric, leather… practically anything!

Remember when I made those cute little Valentine's boxes filled with candy? I made thos with my Big Shot and box die.  When I taught elementary school for 7 years, we had a huge Ellison die cut machine in the office that was amazing, and I am so excited to be the newest member of the team!  I'll be posting Sizzix tutorials on this blog and on the Sizzix blog a few times a month.

If you're a crafter, then you probably have used Darice products, and maybe not have even known.  Darice makes literally EVERY craft product that you can imagine, including my favorites, those big cardboard letters that you can do so many things with!  Each month I'll be creating tutorials and crafts for Darice's new craft blog Live. Craft. Love.

I have some great projects I'm working on that I'll be sharing soon with you!  I couldn't be more excited to be working with these two amazing companies!  And I'll still be here sharing lots of fun projects, too!
