"Just Like Daddy" Flannel and Facial Hair Baby Shower Invitations

How's that for a title? ;)  You don't usually see the words flannel, facial hair, and baby shower all put together, right?

My sister-in-law's baby shower is this weekend, and since her husband has a beard and can almost always be found in a flannel, she wanted to incorporate flannel and facial hair into her baby boy shower.

Here are the invitations I made... I love the way they turned out!

I wanted to go with a red flannel, since it's now fall (even though it is about 100 degrees in So Cal right now!), and it goes with the whole fall/apple thing.  I wanted it to look kind of vintage with the old school mustache and fonts.  The details have been edited out, but you can still get a good feel for the theme and feel of the shower.

I'll also be posting soon the party photos of my son's jungle safari birthday party, as well as my daughter's under the sea birthday party.  This last month feels like it has been one giant party!!  Lots of fun, but a whole lotta' work!

So excited for this time of year...  Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are all right around the corner (can you believe it?!), and I have a ton of fun projects I am working on to share with you!
