Make Life Lovely: Rudolph Cake Pops + Reindeer Thumbprint Gift Tags

Yesterday I made these adorable Rudolph cake pops with my kids, and they also made some cute reindeer tags to go with them. They loved making the tags because the reindeer head is made from their fingerprints, and the nose is made from adding a little paint or ink to the top of a pencil eraser and stamping. So easy and kid friendly, and oh so cute!

Rudolph Cake Pops:

Cake Mix
Sucker Sticks
Dark Brown Chocolate Melts or Chocolate Melts
Candy Eyes (found mine at Michaels)
Red M&M's
Pretzels (broken into antler shapes)

Step #1- Make cake pops. I used a box cake mix and my new cake pops maker. If you do not use a machine, then follow the directions found here to make cake pops. Melt chocolate according to the directions on the back, and dip the end of a stick into the melted chocolate. Put the stick in the cake pop, and do this with the desired amount of cake pops. Put in freezer to harden for about 30 minutes.

Step #2- Remelt chocolate, and dip or spoon chocolate onto cake pop. Add two candy eyes, a red M&M nose, and two pretzel antlers.

STEP #3- Let chocolate cool and harden, and then package them up in little plastic sucker bags and add a reindeer tag (directions below).

Pencil (with a good eraser with little or no use)
Brown and Red Ink (or paint)
